I keep coming back to this spot to take photographs ever few months. I think every time I’m here, I see or feel something different. I love the way the snow-covered water changes the whole dynamics of this beautiful little lake.  Snow is such a great equalizer.

Walking to the Middle of the Lake

Each fall, the dam is opened up and the water of this lake is drained significantly.  We decided to go walk out to the middle of the lake today and see if we could find any lost treasure.  All we found were sunglasses…two pairs.
